Two Months Old!!!

Madilyn Kate...you are two months old!!!

What you are up to:

*you are wearing 0-3 month clothes (and still a few newborns)

*you are wearing size 1 diapers

*you are eating 3-4 ounces every 3 hours

*at night, you are sleeping better and better (we have had a couple of 10-7 nights, but you normally go from 9:30 to 4:30, then 7:30)

*you LOVE to be swaddled, the tighter the better

*you really smile now

*you are starting to make noises back when we talk to you

*you love to rock in your swings (yes, you have 2)

*in the morning, when I hear you moving in the bed and I look over at you, you grin so big

*you still sleep in our room

*you are off and on with your paci

*you are crying less (we went through a bit of a rough patch)

*Mommy is finally starting to get the hang of this two baby thing (it only takes us 1 1/2 hours to get out of the house now!!!!)

*every day you are cuter than the day before

*Daddy calls you Mad or Maddie, and Mommy still calls you Maddie Kate

*Daddy and Mommy love you more than we ever thought we could love a baby

This is your new favorite swing. It is a travel swing so Mommy can carry you all over the house. You love it because Meredith cannot grab your feet when I put you up on the island in it.

Your great-grannie bought it for you.

(I do realize that Madilyn has been two months old for almost two weeks now, but better late than never!)
