Safety First!!!

Last week, Meredith escaped out of the dog door. I had just sat down to feed Madilyn and Meredith was playing with Rocky and Rudy (Michael's parent's dog). They were being so loud, then I heard the dogs run out, then there was dead silence. I called Meredith already knowing that she wouldn't answer. I laid Madilyn down on the couch and ran outside. Mere was standing on the wall of the spa. She smiled so big and said hi when I got out. Needless to say, we had a safety fence put in by the end of the week. I love it! It completely surrounds the pool, but leaves the yard open. It is just such a peace of mind not to have to worry every time that there is a moment of silence that she is at the bottom of the pool.
